Thomas Cook – Information for creditors

Thomas Cook declared bankruptcy and many companies and businesses are affected. If you are owed money as a result of the collapse of the tour operator, your claim as a creditor needs to be registered correctly in the UK insolvency proceedings so that you become a recognised creditor. It will be important to ensure that any contract, invoices or bills are properly entered and you are named as a creditor by the Liquidators dealing with the insolvency.

Once this is done your case will need to be monitored to ensure you are represented at Creditor’s meetings and advice is given to you on any distribution.

As a Spanish and English law firm working with experienced debt recovery and insolvency experts in the UK we can help and respond quickly to your enquiries. Vera Liprandi is a partner at the law firm of De Cotta Law and has specialist knowledge of the Tourist Industry.
