Sandra Wrightson and Jon Sutton attended a very positive International UK-Spain Business Forum at the Málaga Technology Park on 23rd February. Sandra is Honorary Legal Adviser to the British Consulate of Málaga and is pictured with the British Ambassador in Spain Mr Simon Manley CMG, Martin Phelan – Director of Trade & Investment Iberia and Rosslyn Crotty – British Vice Consul. The event was also attended by the Mayor of Málaga Don Francisco de la Torre Prados.
The event run by the British Chamber of Commerce focused on the number of UK and foreign businesses now investing in Andalucía and Málaga. Roger Cooke, President of the Chamber hosted the event. Derek Langley, the Vice President held a very interesting round table discussion with Spanish, English and Ukrainian business leaders all of whom have come to Málaga to reach an international market from Andalucía. British investment in southern Spain is forecast to increase further with the improved infrastructure and quality of life bringing new businesses and start ups to the region.
